The Difference
Living in Southern California, it never occurred to me that my greeting cards with horses saying Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas may have looked a little funny..they are standing in green grass...duh!
So I changed some of them to standing in snow and it looks a lot more like the holidays.

Haha! Yes, I'd say your second horse is ready for Christmas and dashing through the snow, but both are beautiful Hilary!
Very nice job on these pieces! I know what you mean about spelling, a calligrapher has to use right brain skills (for lettering and drawing) and left brain skills for spelling. Not always easy to do both at once. Good job.
